Sonny John Moore begyndte sin producerkarriere under aliaset Skrillex i 2008 med produktioner for blandt andet det britiske metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon. Dette førte til en kontrakt med pladeselskabet Mau5trap Recordings og senere samme år en landsdækkende turne med selskabets stifter Deadmau5. Senest har Skrillex også produceret for Lady Gaga og Bruno Mars. Skrillex’ lyd er et sammensurium af en række forskellige genrer, med inspiration fra blandt andet dubstep, electro house, glitch-music og post-hardcore, hvilket tilsammen udgør et fascinerende og kaotisk lydbillede. Skrillex har turneret over 320 dage i 2011 og spillet til stort set alle de største elektroniske festivaler i verden for flere hundrede tusinde mennesker. Den danske koncert der blev annonceret til at bligve afholdt i store Vega blev udsolgt på under 24 timer, og er nu flyttet til Forum – Så der bliv massiv elektronisk fest d. 5. Maj. Der er udgivet i alt 3 EP’er under pseudonymet Skrillex; senest More Monsters and Sprites, der udkom i juni i år og debuterede som nr. 5 på den amerikanske dance-chart. Derudover har Sonny også udgivet en EP i eget navn i 2009 og 2 album med sin tidligere gruppe, From First to Last, som han forlod i 2006 til fordel for en solo karriere..

Hvad sker der når to af klubscenens mest anerkendte producere går i studiet efter fem års albumpause? Svaret er enkelt: De nedbryder albumformatet med ti skarptskårne singler skabt til alverdens klubber. Og gør det, Filur har gjort til deres varemærke i deres 12 år lange karriere – kickstarter festen med deres fængende housebeats. For folk, der har fulgt bare en lille smule med i dansk musik det sidste årti, behøver Filur næppe nogen længere introduktion, men here goes: I 1999 grundlægger de to djs og producere Tomas Barfod og Kasper Bjørke houseduoen Filur. Året efter udkommer debutalbummet "Exciting Comfort", der indeholder de to floorfillers "It’s Alright" og "Shame", som hitter på klubber over hele Europa. Fra 2002-2006 følger yderligere to albums med flere dancehits, der er med til at gøre Filur til et af de mest spillede danske navne i udlandet. Duoen spiller på toneangivende klubber verden over og vinder en pris til P3 Guld for ’Årets danske pophit’, to Danish Music Awards og i alt otte Danish DeeJay Awards. Med debutalbummet ”The Last Resort”i 2006 blev Trentemøller for alvor allemandseje i Danmark. Albummet solgte over 30.000 ex, hvilket er helt uhørt for et elektronisk album og nummeret ”Moan”med vokal fra Ane Trolle blev et hit ikke kun i Danmark men flere steder i Europa. Albummet indkasserede bl.a. 2 Danish Music Awards og en Steppeulvs Award, og den efterfølgende live tour med Mikael Simpson og Henrik Vibskov var en kæmpesucces, der bragte Trentemøller og co. rundt i Europa og USA og livemæssigt kulminerede det med hans fantastiske triumftog af en optræden på Orange Scene på Roskilde festival 2009 foran mere end 50.000 mennesker. Der er derfor naturligvis kæmpe forventninger til det kommende album. Det kommer til at hedde ”Into The Great Wide Yonder”,og det udkommer den 31.maj.
